Adam

I made these drawings while serving my 2nd year of National Army service, somewhere during 1989.
I had a relatively nice job with the media department. I learned some signwriting, photgraphy and taught
myself some guitar as well. I have not done much 'art' before this, but I needed to find something to do that nobody in the office would notice.
It was the first drawings I made with ink, I hoped to achieve a sort of woodcut effect.'Adam' was created over a few weeks, the story and pictures going together in much the same way as when one is writing the music and lyrics for a song - the one thing leading to the next.
I even wrote music for it, as if composed by the Adam character. In those days I dreamed of
being a musician making music videos and writing books.
